Create connection with Internet Explorer 4 Internet Connection Wizard
for Windows
- NOTE: The Internet Connection
Wizard will start the first time you try to run either Internet Explorer
or Outlook Express. If this is this first time you are running either
of these programs, move straight to Step 3.
- If you already have Internet Explorer installed
on your system but want to create a new connection, start here.
- Double click on the My Computer
icon on your desktop.
- Double click on the Control Panel
icon.
- Double click on the Internet
icon.
- Click on the tab labeled Connection
located at the top of the window.
- Click the Connect button to
start the Internet Connection Wizard.
- Select I want to set up a new connection
to my existing Internet account using my phone line or local area
network (LAN).
- Click the Next button.
- Select Connect using my phone line.
- Click the Next button.
- Select Create a new dial up connection.
- Click the Next button.
- Type your local Net2U Local Access Number in
the Telephone number box.
- Remove the tick from the box next to Dial
using the area code and country code by clicking on it.
- Click the Next button.
- Type your Net2U Username and Password in lower
case letters.
- Click the Next button.
- Select No.
- Click the Next button.
- Type a name for the connection you have created,
usually it will be Net2U.
- Click the Next button.
- Select No.
- Click the Next button.
