• Double-click the Netscape icon on your desktop.
• Click the Edit menu option located at the top of the window. A small menu will open.
• Click on the Preferences option.

• The following window will open. Ensure that the box titled Location in the Home page area of this window reads http://www.net2u.com.au.
• Move the mouse pointer over the plus sign next to Advanced in the left hand side of the window.
• Click the plus sign.

• Click once on the entry called Proxies located under Advanced.
• In the right hand side of the window place a dot next to Manual proxy configuration.
• Click the View button.

• In the box titled HTTP enter the name of the nearest proxy server to your location.
  
• In the box titled Port enter the number 80.
• Click the OK button.

• You will be returned to this window.
• Click the OK button to save the new proxy server settings.
