Configure Netscape Navigator proxy settings for Windows
- Double-click the Netscape icon on your desktop.
- Click the Edit menu option located
at the top of the window. A small menu will open.
- Click on the Preferences option.
- The following window will open. Ensure that the
box titled Location in the Home page
area of this window reads http://www.net2u.com.au.
- Move the mouse pointer over the plus sign next
to Advanced in the left hand side of the window.
- Click the plus sign.
- Click once on the entry called Proxies
located under Advanced.
- In the right hand side of the window place a
dot next to Manual proxy configuration.
- Click the View button.
- In the box titled HTTP enter
the name of the nearest proxy server to your location.
- In the box titled Port enter
the number 80.
- Click the OK button.
- You will be returned to this window.
- Click the OK button to save
the new proxy server settings.
