Configure Internet Explorer 5 for Windows
- Double click on the My Computer
icon on your desktop.
- Double click on the Control Panel
icon.
- Double click on the Internet Options
icon.
- Click on the General tab located
at the top of the window.
- In the area titled Home page
is a box titled Address. Enter http://www.net2u.com.au
into this box.
- Click on the Connections tab
located at the top of the window.
- Select Always dial my default connection.
- Place a tick next to Perform system security
check before dialing.
- Click the Settings button located
at the right edge of the window.
- Place a tick next to Use a proxy server.
- In the Address box enter the
name of the proxy server nearest to your location.
- In the Port box enter the number
80.
- Place a tick next to Bypass proxy server
for local addresses.
- Click the Advanced button located
to the right of the Port box.
- Type the name of your nearest proxy server into
the box titled HTTP.
- Place a tick next to Use the same proxy
server for all protocols.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Apply button.
- Click the OK button.
