Configure Netscape Navigator proxy settings for Macintosh
- Open Netscape by clicking the icon on the desktop.
- Click on the Edit menu option
located at the top of the screen. Select Preferences
from the drop down menu.
- A new window titled Preferences
will open.
- On the left hand side of the window, click your
mouse on the Advanced option.
- Click on the entry titled Proxies.
- Place a dot next to Automatic proxy configuration.
- In the box labeled Configuration location
enter the name of the nearest proxy server to your location.
- Click the OK button to save
the proxy server settings.
