• Open Internet Explorer by double-clicking its icon on the desktop.
• Select the Edit menu option located on the menu bar located at the top of the window or screen
• Select Preferences from the drop down menu.

• In the left hand side of the window scroll down to Network and click on this entry.
• Click once on Proxies.
• In the right hand side of the window, place a tick next to Web Proxy.
• Enter the name of your nearest proxy server in the box to the right of the entry called Web Proxy.
  Please check this list for the proxy server nearest to your location.
• Place a tick next to Use Web Proxy for all.
• Click the Settings button.

• In the Address box ensure that the name of your nearest proxy server is correct.
• In the box titled Port make sure that number 80 is entered.
• Select Normal for the Method.
• Click the OK button to close the Web Proxy settings window.
• Click OK again to save all the settings.
